We provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs, helping them achieve success through financial literacy, business planning, and personalized coaching. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Client Success Manager to join our team and work 1-on-1 with small business owners, ensuring their growth and success.

As the Client Success Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with small business owners, providing personalized guidance, and ensuring that they receive the support needed to overcome challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of underserved communities and the ability to empathize with their unique struggles. You will work closely with entrepreneurs, helping them navigate business operations, financial planning, compliance, and more.

This is an in-person role, located at our downtown Minneapolis office.

  • Work 1-on-1 with small business owners to understand their challenges, goals, and needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance in business operations, financial management, and growth strategies.
  • Develop action plans and resources to assist entrepreneurs in reaching their business goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that client needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and track client progress, providing regular feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with business coaches and other staff to offer comprehensive support to clients.
  • Assist clients in overcoming barriers to success, particularly those from underserved communities.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Ensure clients are aware of resources and opportunities provided by Black Business Enterprises.
  • Represent BBE at community events and networking opportunities as needed.

  • 5-10 years of experience working with small businesses, particularly in underserved communities.
  • Proven experience in client success, business consulting, or a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of small business operations, financial planning, and business strategy.

Administrative Assistant

At Black Business Enterprises (BBE), we are committed to supporting underserved communities and small businesses through financial literacy, business development, and personalized coaching. Our organization is rapidly growing, and we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to work directly with the CEO, Nancy Korsah, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, ensuring smooth communication, efficient scheduling, and effective execution of administrative tasks. This role requires a candidate who is extremely detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in working with executives. You will handle various tasks, including managing the CEO’s calendar, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and overseeing the administrative functions at BBE’s headquarters.

This is an in-person role at our downtown office in Minneapolis, where you will work closely with the CEO.

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including managing her calendar, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication.
  • Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports for meetings and events.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events, meetings, and workshops led by the CEO.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Ensure the CEO’s day-to-day operations run smoothly, addressing any administrative needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to track projects, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Oversee office operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Attend meetings and take detailed notes as required, following up on action items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the CEO and executive team.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant, preferably with senior executives.
  • Proven experience managing calendars, organizing meetings, and coordinating logistics for high-level executives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to professionally interact with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with project management tools.
